A long beach south of the airport, on the way to the salt pans. The sand has a pink tint on some days. Calm water with a sandy entry, and almost no shade.
Good for: swimming. Facing: west-southwest; the beach faces away from the usual trade wind. From Kralendijk: about 15 minutes by car.
