Which beach today?

On Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao the trade wind decides which beach is calm and which is rough, and cruise ships and Sunday crowds decide which one is full. We check both every morning, per beach, for the next seven days.

Why per beach?

The islands are small, but their coasts are not alike. A beach that faces the wind gets waves while a beach around the corner is flat. A general forecast says "28°C, windy". It does not say that Baby Beach is calm while the east coast is rough, or that Eagle Beach fills up because three cruise ships are in.

How it works: the method, the sources and what we cannot see.
