About Arashi Beach
Near the northern tip, below the California Lighthouse. Clear water, a rocky edge to snorkel along, and a local crowd on weekends. Feels less like a resort than Palm Beach.
Good for: snorkelling and swimming. Facing: west; the beach faces away from the usual trade wind. From Oranjestad: about 25 minutes by car.
Facilities: Shade huts, a beach bar, parking along the road.
